Nelly O’Conners Annual Golf Tournament. Snow next week!

Boy what a great day for golf at Geant Golf course on “Nelly O’Conner’s Annual Golf Tournament. Temps in the 70’s with a light wind. The list was full of locals and businessman from all over.

We started the day at Geant.

First I would like to thank the ITW Marketing/Public Relations Dept for allowing us on Geant Golf Course today. I would also like to give the course Marshals and Staff at Geant Golf Course a big thumbs up for the outstanding service they gave us today.

Now mind you before we get started I judge how good my golf day is by how many balls I lose. And since Geant play’s like a mountain style course you can lose a lot of golf balls. I ended up +5 in the golf ball dept today. Lost 3 and found 8, thank you very much :LOL:

Diable Golf Course Report 12 June 08 w/vids,pics

“Please bare with me. There is a ton of information to pass along in this report. What each hole is like. Map pictures, etc, etc, etc. So here is the basic. Working on the rest right now!!!!!”

Well yesterday I had the opportunity to play the Diable Golf Course. The course is an 18 hole executive course were all your service wants and desires are catered too. You can even order a meal at the 9th tee. People were great.

Now Diable kind of plays like a desert course IMHO. The wastes (long and I do mean long and wide traps) run throughout the course and have variable conditions from sand to dirt, to small rocks in some instances. But it isn’t called “wasteland” for nothing in golf.

Well here you go folks. The Luge is open so I decided to take it for a ride. The cost for 1 ride on the luge after taxes is $10.50. Then you go grab your helmet and get on the Flying mile chair promptly greated by some smiling guy in a fishing hat 😉
